For those that do not know...

The Sheriff of San Francisco City and County attacked his wife on New Year's Eve. He worked out a "sweetheart" plea bargain where he was convicted of "illegal imprisonment" instead of "domestic abuse". The deal allows him to still carry a gun. Without the deal he would HAVE to resign.
