San Bernardino County prosecutors have filed criminal charges against a San Bernardino police sergeant who was accused of illegally detaining suspects.

Allegations surfaced more than two years ago against San Bernardino Police Sgt. Brad Lawrence, who was accused of holding suspects "on ice," detaining them without sufficient evidence.
