Border agents arrested 20 illegal immigrants Tuesday morning who were attempting to enter the country by sea at Calafia State Beach in San Clemente.

When the small craft the immigrants were riding in land landed, the occupants attempted to flee. Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol arrested 17 men and three women, all from Mexico.

And let me guess, we have to pay for the hospital costs due to the bimbo's broken leg. They should start firing rounds at it while still at sea and withing the 200 mile limit, let them swim back to their home. At least we get target practice.

The rules of engagement for Iraqi insurgents are even stricter than that, and these people are unarmed.

paxildog -

Or better yet - we could enforce hiring laws in the states which would dry up demand for illegal labor and eliminate the need for people like you to think it is okay to kill people for wanting a better life.

Kylemmie - That's good. Then any others that just come here for the free handouts can live at your house and you pay for all their expenses, due the time for criminal offenses and raise their dead weight after we eliminate all the hiring problems. I'd be good with that too.

You're right, no shooting, just have those who don't want to get tough with them all individuals sign that will pay for them and those who don't sign up for them don't have ANY taxes or services go to them. Great idea. Why don't you start a petition that gets it moving.

Cubans have been doing beach landings for decades. While it's good to know that we still have SOME border patrol, I have to wonder how many successful beach attempts were made?

This is troublesome because someone crossing the border on foot is less likely to be carrying a dirty bomb, or other hazzard to the U.S., but someone entering in a boat, truck or plane could bring such a weapon with them.

No, I'm not suggesting a Mexican wants to do harm to the U.S. I'm suggesting that a porous boarder is an invitation to those who DO want to do harm to the U.S.

Camp Pendelton in California seems to be another favorite landing spot by water.

I have to agree with Will @ #2, how many successful beach attempts were made? There seems to be no end to illegals coming here. We must elect a Government that will put a stop to this BS.
