This man was confused trying to get help. Instead he got tasered and wrestled to the ground and faces multiple charges (usual protective reaction of the police).

Even as volunteer at a local Humane shelter, we were taught how to properly restrain animals so as not to cause harm to the animal or ourselves. So, why are the police not taught something similar. Violence usually begets more violence. I believe they over use the tasers and even the threat of using them. I could possible understand and forgive some over reaction in the case of, oh say, a RIOT. But an older person who was probably obviously showing signs of confusion??? This was uncalled for.

Those officers should take a few courses in Gerontology. There are going to be more of us getting old...and tasered, otherwise.

      Lucky they didn't decide to shoot him. The deadly weapon he was driving and all....I'd say he is a lucky man.
